BAREFOOT, Tan Smith, 70, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Peppi's House in Tucson, Arizona. Born September 13, 1944 in Johnston county, North Carolina, to Juanita and Golden Barefoot, he lived most of his life in North Carolina and Arizona. Tan is survived by his wife of 46 years, Asonia Thomas Barefoot; his daughter, Angela T. Barefoot and his granddaughter, Allita T. Barefoot. He is also survived by his brothers, Jerry M. Barefoot and Dr. Dan H. Barefoot; as well as other extended family and many friends. A special thank you to nurses, staff, and many volunteers at Peppi's House in Tucson, Arizona for their loving care and tremendous support.
