Terry Richard Hansen

Terry "T" Richard Hansen, 76, passed away on November 10, 2019, following an illness. We will miss his mischievous sense of humor and his quiet strength. He was, and is, well loved. Terry was born in Corning, CA, to Helen and Ted Hansen. In 1961 he graduated from Red Bluff High School. He earned his Associates Degree in Forestry from Shasta College. Following graduation, Terry began a very proud 42 year career as a PG&E General Construction Lineman. He retired in 2006. During his working years, Terry made countless friends, many of whom he considered family. In his time away from climbing poles, Terry loved being a cowboy, and spent many years working the Rocking Chair Ranch. He enjoyed playing golf, and was a dedicated supporter of Pop Warner Youth Football. He loved anything "outdoors." Later in life, Terry discovered a love of travel; his adventures included exploring the East Coast and cruising through the Panama Canal. Terry is survived by Rosanne, his wife of 27 years, and his four children, Richard Hansen (Tracey), Todd Hansen (Alycia), Scott Hansen (Brandi), and Teresa Turner (Kevin). He also leaves behind Rosanne's sons, Rick Kyle (Liz) and Rob Kyle (Kathryn), and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by his granddaughter, Galadriel Marie, and his grandson and namesake, Terry Richard. At Terry's request, no formal services will be held. Family and friends will be invited to celebrate Terry's life at a luncheon to be held at a future date.
