COLUMBIA: Memorial service for Terry Kim Schwarz, 58, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Jay Glasgow. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Mr. Schwarz passed away Monday, July 2, 2012. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late William Schwarz and Edna Elizabeth Gibson Schwarz. He was a graduate of W.J. Keenan High School. Surviving is his significant other, Kathy Stone of Columbia and her children and family; sisters, Jackie Brown of Pelion and Faye Edwards of NC; brother, William F. Schwarz of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Schwarz was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Schwarz.
