Ted was born in Lima, Ohio to Theodore Myers Sr. and Shirley Myers and was the older of their two sons. Ted was preceded in death by his father in July, 1997. He is survived by his loving wife Leslie of 19 yrs., a beautiful and talented daughter Danielle Marie (22yrs old), and a heartwarming granddaughter Mily Delaney (4yrs old). And also his mother Shirley Miller and Brother Lee Myers Both of New Port Richey. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and lots of great friends who will miss him very much. Ted was a loving son, brother, husband, father and loved spending much of his time with his Granddaughter Mily who called him “DOO-DAH” Ted’s wishes were to be cremated and his wishes were carried out on Wednesday night the 18th.Ted served our country for 2 years and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. His memorial service will be held from 12:00 p.m. til 2:00 p.m., January 28, 2012, at the Veteran’s Memorial Museum and Park located at 3602 Highway 301 North, Tampa, FL 33619. Food will be provided and covered dishes are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the Memorial and will be used to purchase his Granddaughter Mily a Memory Glass Globe that will hold some of his ashes in it for her.
