Thomas Edward (Eddie) Benavidez known by many as "Doughboy," passed away on June 20, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Nita; two sons, Jake and Cole; daughter, Amanda; and grandson, Jake, Jr.; father, Thomas; mother, Medith; brother, Joseph; sister, Theresa; as well as grandmother, Natalie Dean; and many aunts and uncles. Eddie was a wonderful husband and father with many friends and extended family. Eddie loved John Wayne movies and everything Western, including listening to George Strait or music in general. He loved to go fishing, camping with his dad and anyone else he could get to go. He truly loved his trade. He had a great sense of humor that would lighten the mood of any room. He was truly magnetic in every sense of the word. Services to be held at the First Baptist Church in San Manuel on Friday June 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to DESERT SUNSET CREMATION AND FUNERAL SERVICES, Catalina, AZ, 520-818-0038.
