Thomas EagenA memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Eugene for Thomas Gordon Eagen of Sunriver, formerly of Eugene, who died Jan. 25 of complications from cancer. He was 70. A luncheon will follow the service. Private inurnment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eugene.He was born May 22, 1939, in Long Beach, Calif., to William and Alice Gordon Eagen. He married Diana K. Weaver Oct. 7, 1961, in Long Beach.He attended St. Anthony’s High School in Long Beach, and Long Beach City College and Long Beach State College. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.He worked 40 years for the CIT Group/Equipment Finance Inc., and retired in 1991 as district sales manager.Survivors include his wife; his mother; a daughter, Lisa Eagen Charters of Vancouver, Wash.; a son, Patrick Eagen of Eugene; and eight grandchildren. He was the oldest of nine children.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
