Thomas B. Nohl, age 72, of North Port, Florida passed away on July 8, 2021 in his home. Born on March 20, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI and raised in Oconomowac, WI. He spent any happy days growing up on Lake Mary with his siblings. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Business Degree in 1986 and a Master of Science Management in 1989. He also attended Argosy University in 2006 to 2008 working on his Doctorate Degree in Accounting. He was employed at Collier County Government Center as a Fiscal Analysis and later went on to become Chair of Accounting at Hodges University in Fort Myers and in Naples until his retirement in 2014. He is survived by his life partner of 22 years, Lynda Scott; his daughter, Megan (Steve) Wanke; grandchildren, Logan Eldred, Gwen Wanke, and Caroline Wanke; his brothers, Victor (Linda) Nohl and Greg (Lisa) Nohl; his sisters, Kathy Nohl and Laurie Hovis; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and his new puppy, Molly who gave him much pleasure in his final days. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Nohl and his mother, Hazel Nohl. He will be buried in Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, FL near his faithful companion, Bandit who he loved so much. Farley Funeral Home In North Port is in charge of arrangements.
