Mr. Timothy R. Balogh, Sr., 63, of Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY died suddenly on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. Born in Ferndale, Michigan on January 8, 1956 he was the son of the late George and Eunice Engel Balogh. At the age of 3, Tim moved to the area and was raised by his grandparents. He graduated from Perth High School and worked for over 30 years for Nathan Littauer Hospital in the Maintenance Department. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife Vivian Balogh; three children, Timothy R. Balogh II and his wife Roseann, Steven C. Balogh, and Shawna M. Balogh (Terry Barker); five grandchildren, Guinevere M. Balogh, Alexandra L. Balogh, Cassandra A. Balogh, Tiberius S. Barker and Amethyst P. Barker; aunt and uncle, Tom and Verna Somerville; his beloved dog Cedar Tree; and many cousins. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 1p.m. at Crossroads Community Church, 24 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
