Travis T. Miller Age 45, of Saint Paul, surrounded by friends and family. Travis Troy Miller passed away on November 23, 2016, from complications related to pneumonia. Travis was born January 26, 1971, in Keokuk, Iowa. He was known as a jack-of-all-trades but was defined by dedication and service to his country and its beauty. Travis served in the US Army (101st Airborne Division) in Desert Storm, but his commitment to country went beyond the battlefields. From fishing and canoeing to capturing nature’s beauty through photography to bike trail grooming, Travis’ love of the outdoors was unparalleled. He wasn’t shy to speak his mind but had a generous heart. One didn’t have to talk to Travis long before they would hear about his admiration for his nephew, his love for his wife and their thrifting adventures, and his obsession with weather. Travis is survived by his wife, Laura Smith, and four-legged child, Suki; father, Ernie (Kathy) Curfman; mother, Joyce Horn; siblings, Melissa, Suzzett, Amanda, Casey, and Crystal; nephew Adam, whom he considered a son; five nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Visitation 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 29, at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 55105, burial 12:45pm at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
