Valerie B. Snell touched many lives during her time here on earth. Her loving spirit will be remembered long after her passing. Valerie passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2022. Valerie was born to Victor Passino and the late Noreen Passino on October 30, 1964 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, NY. Valerie grew up surrounded by her large family. She had nine other siblings, Lisa Bilger (deceased), Michael Passino, Mark Passino, Vicki Hill (Valerie’s twin), Holly Jennings (deceased), Audrey Miklic, Mitchell Passino, Sherrie Cevera and John Zajaceskowski. Valerie had the privilege of growing up in not one but two loving homes, one with her mom Noreen Passino and the other with her dad Victor and Diana Passino. Valerie was a very loving, caring, spiritual woman and family meant the world to her. Valerie would never hesitate to call a loved one, even if it was just to see how they were doing that day. Valerie loved being surrounded by her flowers, angel knick knacks, and her two cats Precious (deceased) and Nicolas. As a mother and grandmother, she was very generous, loving and kind. When Valerie became a grandmother, she was all about her grandkids. To Valerie, there was nothing anyone could tell her, she was going to spoil and love them up to matter what anyone said. She would simply say “What! Leave me alone, there my grandkids! I’ll do what I want.” And that is exactly what she did, whatever her big heart wanted to. Valerie will be greatly missed by her family especially her four children, Kevin R. Snell (deceased), Amanda and Tyrese Peace, Kayla Houle and Lalo Gonzalez and Samantha Valentine and Joel Knudsen; as well as all eleven of her beautiful grandchildren, Brianna, Brayden, Jazzelynn, Jaida, Jovan, Keagan, Kaden, Olivia, Juliana, Natalie and Nevaeh. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and in-laws that will miss her dearly. We know that we could not keep you here but we’re happy knowing that the angles got you back and you can now be with you son Kevin, Mom Noreen, Sister’s Lisa and Holly, watching over all of us. A Graveside Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2p.m. at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown, NY. All are invited to attend. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home. Please visit the online memorial at www.brbsfuneral.com
