BENTON, Jr., Wayne Delo "Big Wayne", 56, of Tampa, went home to be with the lord on July 2, 2009, after a long struggle with heart disease. He was a Florida native, born @ MacDill AFB. Wayne was a master baker at La Segunda Central Bakery for 33 years. He was involved in making the longest footlong cuban. He was chef, an awesome fisherman, a mentor, had such a kind soul, extemely polite, especially know for his "yes sirs". Wayne was an amazing husband and the best father anyone could hope for. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Benton. Survivors include his wife, Sandy Benton; a loving mother-in-law, Loretta Winters; daughter's, Valorie and Miranda Benton; an adoring son, Wayne Benton III "Lil Wayne" and two admirable grandson's, Chance Benton and Tanner Torres; brother, Dennis Benton.
