Wendy passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at age 51 in Thomasville, NC. She was born on August 23, 1969 and was the daughter of Ronald and Carol Weed. She is survived by her two children, William Wood (Terilynn) and Jerica Wood, her brother, John Weed; niece, Savanah Weed; nephew, Dustin Weed; husband, Marty Willard (of the home); stepdaughter Darrien Kirkman (Justin): stepson, Cory Willard and two step grandchildren. Wendy was a free spirit who enjoyed life. She was devoted to her two dogs and enjoyed crocheting, photography, and singing. She graduated from North Iredell High School. In her youth, she attended church and sang in the choir. The highlight of her life was mission trips to Haiti with her father. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3pm at Northview Church of Christ. Face masks and social distancing protocols are being observed. Her father, Ronald Weed will be officiating the service.
