William (Bill) Thomas Donlin of Waxhaw North Carolina, formerly of Norwalk Connecticut, passed away on April 3, 2016. Loving father to Aaron and Rachel Donlin. Bill was devoted to his two children. Over the years he dedicated time to coaching Little League and to the greater Jewish community in various roles both in youth activities and maintenance of the building and grounds of the synagogues where he was a member. Bill enjoyed drag racing and was often in attendance in Rockingham or Darlington. An avid enthusiast of all types of music, Bill enjoyed building and restoring electric and pedal steel guitars. He was a talented wood worker, creating beautiful pieces of furniture and several musical instruments. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association or to the Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
