Frankfort, KY Wilma S. Davis, 93, widow of Samuel S. Davis, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Born in Garrett, KY on July 9, 1922 to the late Van L. Shumate and Jemima Allen Shumate. Wilma was retired from National Distilleries, and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, who enjoyed working in her garden and decorating. Wilma is survived by her daughter Tammy Davis Vernon, (Jim) Taylorsville; her son Van Lynn Davis, (Darlene) Frankfort; and her granddaughter Keven Lynn Davis. Funeral Information A graveside service will be held 2:30pm Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
