John Albert Behr

John A. Behr, 57, of Central Square, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 27th. He was a devoted son, loving father, grandfather, partner, brother, uncle and friend. John loved anything with an engine that was not a Subaru. He was an avid racing fan and successful driver. John was a self-made man, building his own successful auto glass business. He enjoyed life to its fullest. John was predeceased by his father, James F. Behr Sr. He is survived by his mother, Marie Behr; son, John Behr Jr.; life partner, Pattie Crandall; daughter, Ashlee Crandall; grand daughter, Davyne Thornton; siblings, Mariann (Roger) Hand, James Behr, Jeffrey (Darcy) Behr, Maria (Robert) George and Margo (Tim) Smith; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine’s Church in Baldwinsville on Thursday, Feb. 3rd at 10 AM. Calling hours will be held from 5 PM to 7PM on Thursday, Feb. 3rd at A.
