Claude Marshall Gause
December 21, 1947 — May 1, 2026
Heaven just got a little more rowdier and a lot more deep-to-the-heart laughter when Buddy entered into the heavenly gates!!!
Having shattered hearts and deep sorrow, our loving brother, Claude Marshall Gause, 78, native to Tarpon Springs, born December 21, 1947 was a very proud Marine, true patriot, dedicated to his country and family, passed away on May 1, 2026, peacefully, at Advent Hospital in Tarpon Springs, Fl.
“Buddy” the name we tagged him, was extremely generous, with love and support for his family. He had the biggest heart with the heartiest laughter…we always loved to hear him laugh, his entire body would shake, the laughter was so deep!!! Buddy loved playing the lottery, lucky at winning and we could always count on a lottery ticket for birthdays and Christmas! He never failed us!!!
Buddy, all the time received huge compliments from elderly neighbors in his neighborhood in how he watched over them and in helping them however he could!!!! Always the protector, and saying he had the Biggest Heart!!! They even considered him as their brother. That’s our brother!
Buddy joined the United States Marine Corps in 1966, active duty for 3 years. A Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including National Defense Service medal, Good Conduct medal and Marksman Badge (Rifle M-14). Buddy was so proud to serve his country!!!
We are so proud of him!!!!
Buddy is preceded in death by our parents, Claude and Ethel Gause, Siblings: Robert (Bobby) Gause, Dorothy (Gause) Gannaway, Shirley (Gause) Godwin, Irma (Gause) Eichler, Lester Gause, Michael Gause, many Nieces and Nephews.
Buddy is survived by his Sisters and Spouses……Sondra (Gause) Hatzie, Patricia (Gause) and Randy Janowiak, Claudia (Gause) and Michael Carlin, Michelle (Gause) Boesch and Kenny Alderman, and many, many Nieces and Nephews!!!
Your Duty is done Soldier and Brother. Rest well. You will always be remembered, respected, loved, and missed!!!!
