Pernell A. King

Pernell Ancil King, 62, of Largo, Florida passed away on July 14, 2026, at Suncoast Hospice Care Center in Pinellas Park, Florida. Born in Lexington, Kentucky on December 31, 1963, he grew up in Paris, Kentucky. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Ancil Franklin King and Emma Jane Richardson, sister Regina Kaye Fryman, and son Jeremy Michael King. Pernell is survived by his wife Kymberli Dawn King, children Kathryn Danielle King, Jordan Pernell King, and Shanell Dawn King, stepchildren David Wayne Clouse and Britney Leigh-Anne Clouse, siblings Leota Jane King, Mary Faye George, Tela Gay Harbold, nephews Anthony Lee King, David Franklin Cook, Stephen Dexter King, Matthew Lucas King, Ryan Austin King and nieces Alanna Nicole King, Crystal Star Mosley, Shelby Sue Fryman, Harley Faye Fryman, Aaron June Bruenig, five grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren. 

Pernell loved fishing, gardening, the Kentucky Wildcats, and working with his hands fixing things and painting model cars. He was a life member of VFW 9272 in Seminole Florida. Celebration of Life service TBD in Kentucky.
