Bruce Michael Sullivan

June 8, 1961 — April 10, 2026

Bruce Sullivan, 64, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on June 8, 1961, in Reno, Nevada, Bruce moved to Idaho as a child with his parents, Mike and Peggy Sullivan, and his brother, Mark, where he would go on to build a life rooted in family, friendship, and community.

Bruce met the love of his life, Shannon, in October 2003, and the two were married on July 8, 2006. Together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and deep connection. Bruce was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a steady, loving presence to all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon; his son, Dustin Sullivan; and his grandson, Aiden, whom he lovingly helped raise as his own. Bruce also leaves behind his stepchildren, Cory Schenkel, Ashley Landis, Jared Landis, and Skylar Landis, as well as ten cherished grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy.

Bruce had a deep love for the outdoors, especially camping in the mountains. He found peace and happiness surrounded by nature and was especially looking forward to spending time on a special property he and his family found in Cascade—something that brought him great joy and anticipation.

Bruce will be remembered as a loving son, a wonderful husband, a dedicated father and grandfather, and a loyal friend. His kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In accordance with Bruce’s wishes, no formal service will be held. A viewing will take place on Monday, April 20th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for family and friends to pay their last respects. A Celebration of Life will be held in June, during his birth month, on the property he so loved in Cascade.

His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he held so close to his heart.
