Barry Joe Deal

Dr. Barry Joe Deal, age 79, peacefully passed away on the late morning of April 8, 2026, in thepresence of his loving daughter, Tanelle Kinney.

Barry was a fun, loving person who lived a full and adventurous life marked by kindness, andgenuine care for others.

He devoted his life to helping others heal, discovering his true passion in serving his communitythrough more than five decades of dedicated chiropractic care. His work reflected a deep well ofcompassion and a sincere desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Outside of his profession, Barry was a devoted Arizona Wildcats fan who cherished everyopportunity to watch games, often sharing those precious moments with friends and familywhenever possible.

He embraced a wide range of interests, including bowling, exploring the country on motorcyclejourneys, and cultivating a deep connection to spirituality, among many others.

He also had a special place in his heart for his brother, children and grandchildren, finding joy intheir presence and energy every time they were together.

Known for his unique and animated nature, Barry was a thoughtful and observant person whocould enliven the room with his exuberant and boisterous story telling, for which he was knownand loved for. He also very much enjoyed connective and meaningful conversations, especiallywith the ones he loved!

Barry will be remembered most for his kind and caring heart, his steady patience, and hisunwavering authenticity in always being true to himself.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Kristine Deal; his daughter andson-in-law, Tanelle and David Kinney; his granddaughters, Kiara and Kianna Reed; and hisgrandson, Jalen Reed. He is also survived by his brother, Dr. Sheldon Deal. He was preceded indeath by his parents, Vertal and Fanny Deal; his sister, Shirley; and his daughter, Tarley ReedDeal.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held to honor Barry and his vivacious laugh on April 19th, 2026 at5373 E. Gleneagles Drive, Tucson, Arizona 85718 from 2pm-5pm. All are invited who would liketo attend
