It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Harold Smith Jr. on October 10th, 2023. James peacefully passed away in his sleep at the age of 79. James was a beloved Husband, Brother, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and Friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
James is survived by his loving Wife - Marilyn Smith, Sister – Barbra Bagley, 4 Grandchildren – Albert & Matthew Anaya- Rebecca & Rachel Arvizu, 4 Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews. James was a family man who cherished spending time with his loved ones.
James proudly served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1968. He was a dedicated veteran who served his country with honor and distinction. James will be remembered for his kind heart, his infectious smile, and his love for western shows and movies.
James was predeceased by his parents and his 2 children, Daughter - Marilyn and Son -James. He will be reunited with them in heaven. James will be laid to rest at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery on October 31st, 2023. Although James is no longer with us, his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
