HODGES, Paul Arthur Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on 27 August, 2017. Born in California, 4 November 1926, to Herbert H. and Ellen A. (Ojeda) Hodges, Paul lived in Chile, South Africa, and Arizona and traveled the world as a mining engineer. In Tucson, he volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and The Flying Samaritans. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara; daughters, Sally Stevens-Taylor (Ralph), Sheila Guinther (Bill), and stepchildren, Debra Caid (Les), Pat Lopez III (Marilou), Steven Lopez (Megan Nelson), Danelle Kornberg (Donald), Cyndi Dain (Joe), Lynda Hartzler (Doug) and Bryon Lopez (Teresita Pinacho); 20 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and siblings, Allen Hodges (Betsey) and Joyce Ruppert (Alvin-deceased). His love for his family is our cherished memory. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Francis in the Foothills, 4625 E. River Rd., Tucson, AZ 85718. A reception will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to: Flying Samaritans Arizona, Tucson Chapter, P.O. Box 40431, Tucson, AZ, 85717.
