Ronald Wayne Arnold

August 15, 1951 — March 7, 2026

Ronald Wayne Arnold Sr., age 74, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, in Vail, Arizona. He was born on August 15, 1951, in Corona, California.

Ronald was born to Eva Lee Watts and Paul B. Arnold, and was later raised by his stepfather, John P. Watts, whom he knew as his father.

Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Navy from February 13, 1970, until his honorable discharge on February 12, 1974. His military service reflected the honor, loyalty, and dedication that remained a guiding force throughout his life.

A man of strong faith and devotion to the Lord, Ronald lived his life guided by Christian values. One of his favorite passages was Psalm 23, which brought him comfort and peace.

Ronald was a loving brother, devoted husband, caring father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather. His greatest joy in life was his family. Known for his kindness, generosity, and selfless nature, he was the kind of man who would give his last dollar or the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

He had a deep love for fishing and spending time outdoors and was happiest surrounded by family and friends. Ronald had a playful spirit and was well known as a prankster who could make anyone laugh. A skilled handyman and true jack of all trades, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. He also had a special love for animals and showed compassion for all living things.

Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Irene Arnold (Ralston); his youngest son, Daniel Arnold; and his siblings, Carla Sue Arnold, who passed away shortly after birth; Charles Ray Arnold of North Dakota; Cindy Ruth (Bob) Arnold of Mira Loma, California; Paul Vaughn (Dianne) Ivy of Jurupa Valley, California; and Joe (Nadra) Leon Ivy of Northern California.

He is survived by his oldest son, Ronald W. Arnold Jr.; his six grandchildren, RaQuelle (John), Taylor (Sean), Brooklynn, Clarissa, Daniel Jr., and Ashley; and his six great-grandchildren, Luke, Christian, Conor, Ryleigh, Bradley, and Ryder, who were a tremendous source of pride and joy in his life.

He is also survived by his loving siblings, Tommy (Connie) Arnold of Moreno Valley, California; Sandra Elaine (Jesse) Flores of Vail, Arizona; Paula Susan (William) Corner of Tucson, Arizona; and Jackie Sue (Roy) Stockman of New Mexico, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will deeply miss his warm spirit, humor, and generous heart.

Ronald will be remembered as a man of honor, faith, laughter, and unwavering love — someone who lived simply, gave freely, and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the generations of family who were blessed to know and love him.

A memorial service to celebrate Ronald’s life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the American Legion – McCulloch-Wagner Post 109, located at 15921 S Houghton Rd, Corona de Tucson, Arizona.
