Eric Anthony Maxwell

Eric Anthony Maxwell, 31, of Greeley passed away on March 30th, 2022, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO. He was born to Ruby Garcia and Eric L. Maxwell in Austin, TX on June 11th, 1990. Eric grew up in Fort Collins, CO. He attended Northridge High School and graduated from GOAL Academy in 2012 in Greeley. Eric was previously working at a company that produced cabinets. More recently, Eric had been employed at BMC West as a laborer. Eric lived on his own terms. He was a talented artist who liked to draw, and tattoo. He’d even tattoo his own skin. He enjoyed fishing out in Ehrlich Lake in Milliken with his family and friends. They’d spend the day at the lake fighting the carp to catch them and then release them back into the water. Above all else, he loved and cherished his two sons: 9-year-old Makai and 8-year-old Evander. Eric’s son Evander had recently started flag football which Eric was very excited about. Eric is survived by his sons Makai and Evander, his mother Ruby Garcia, his siblings, Darlene Ramirez of Milliken, Janay Martinez of Fort Collins, Desirae Maxwell of Fort Collins, Richard Maxwell of Severance, Natalia Garcia of Milliken, Alicia Garcia of Milliken, Isaiah Garcia of Loveland, Lasiah Garcia of Loveland, and Yadira Garcia of Milliken, his best friend Savannah Archuleta and many more close friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father Eric L. Maxwell. Visitation 5-7 PM Tuesday, April 12th at Adamson Life Celebration Home. Life Celebration service 11 AM Wednesday, April 13th at Grace Community Church in Johnstown. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception will be held at Grace Community Church, Johnstown following the interment.
