Jimmy "Jim” Lee Shankle June 21, 1952 �" May 26, 2007 Age: 54 Residence: Greeley, CO Tribute: Jimmy "Jim” Lee Shankle was born in Denver, CO to Donald Gene and Mary Lou (Jackson) Shankle. Mr. Shankle was raised and educated in Fort Collins, CO. On June 14, 1973 he married Patrice Loban and moved to Greeley where they raised their family. Mr. Shankle was employed at Best Way Paving for 25 years and continued employment with the company after it became Aggregate Industries. Mr. Shankle was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working in the yard, attending boat shows, spending time with his family and listening to his radio. Mr. Shankle was a member of Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed working and he also enjoyed the people he worked with; some of whom he worked with for 35 years. He was especially proud of his children and grandchildren. Mr. Shankle was very loved and will be missed terribly. Mr. Shankle died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at McKee Medical Center surrounded by his family. Survivors: Wife, Patrice of Greeley; daughter, Jennifer Shankle of Greeley; son, Tim Shankle and wife Tina of Greeley; son, Ryan Shankle of Greeley; three granddaughters, Serbeara, Bailey and Kaitlyn all of Greeley; mother, Mary Lou Bishop of Greeley; brother, Larry Shankle and wife Mary Ann of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Donna Shankle of Aurora, CO; brother, David Shankle and wife Paula of Riverton,WY. Mr. Shankle is also survived by mother-in-law, Elsie Loban of Severance, CO; brother-in-law, Bill Loban of Severance; sister-in-law, Connie Krause of Severance; sister-in-law, Risa Wertzbaugher of Evans, CO; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: Father, Donald Gene Shankle. Visitation: 11:00 a.m.-12:45p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Adamson West Chapel. Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Adamson West Chapel. Note: Cremation.
