Marilyn Theresa Deremer

Marilyn Theresa DeRemer, 71, of Greeley, CO, was born August 28, 1938 in Nebraska City, NE, to Merwin and Esther (Meyer) Roach. Marilyn spent most of her life in Greeley. She was married and later widowed. Marilyn’s priorities in life were her faith and her family. She enjoyed the holidays �" especially Christmas and also music, theater, and watching the Rockies and Broncos. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and she was very proud of their accomplishments, especially having four grandsons currently serving in the armed forces. Marilyn was a kind and loving person whose genuine concern for others endeared her to her family, church family, and many friends. In spite of her failing health, those around her were amazed by her fighting spirit and strength. On October 12, 2009, Marilyn left this life and is now celebrating her new life in heaven. She was a member of Grace Church in Greeley. She leaves behind, her daughters, Cindy Villegas (Michael) of Greeley, Renee Holloway (Richard) of Broomfield, CO, Lisa Othmer (Mitchell) of Seneca, KS, and Shelly Mulberry (Joe) of Cheyenne, WY; sons, Buddy Vierow (Konna) of Greeley and Martin Vierow (Robin) of Milford, CT; grandchildren, Aaron Coleman, Danielle Coleman, Jimmy Villegas, Taylor Villegas, Nathan Holloway, David Holloway, Terah Widoe (Russ), Joseph Amen (Amy), Nichole Othmer, Jillian Mulberry, Alex Mulberry, Michael Vierow, Bethany Vierow, Bryan Vierow, and Stephanie Vierow; great grandchildren, Addison Widoe, Nicholas Widoe, and Parker Amen; and a sister Ann Darnel of Blair, NE. Preceding her in death are her parents and a daughter, Debbie Vierow. A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Grace Church 6400 20th Street in Greeley.
