Melva Marie Roybal (84) passed away April 8, 2020. She was born July 3, 1935 in New Mexico to Augustin (Ignacia) Roybal. The oldest of 11 siblings, she moved to Greeley as a teenager and attended high school. She married Daniel Pisano in 1958. He passed away in 1989.
Melva was a production worker for Kodak for many years, and retired to take care of her family. She loved to crochet and knit, and cook food for family. There was never a lack of tortillas and green chili. She supported all her grandchildren by attending and watching their sporting events. Her passion was raising her grandchildren, babysitting family and celebrating life. She was a member of Our Lady Of Peace, Catholic Church in Greeley, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, and her brother Frank. She is survived by her children; Lydia Pisano of Greeley, Ron (Toni) Pisano of Oklahoma City, and Edward (Patricia) Pisano of Fort Collins. Her siblings include; Isabel (Gene) Espinoza of Colorado Springs, Maria (Ray) Baros of Colorado Springs, Lillian (Dave) Bean of Greeley, Mela (Tony) Vigil of Colorado Springs, Linda (Ray, deceased) Duran of Commerce City, Fidel (Francis) Roybal of Greeley, Albert (Edna) Roybal of Eaton, Joe (Mary) Roybal of Platteville, Jim (Debbie) Roybal of Greeley. She is also survived by her 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Private visitation at Adamson Life Celebration Home, Greeley, CO on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, 10:00am. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley, CO on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at noon.
