Nettie Dollie Adler

Nettie Dollie Adler, 86, of Greeley, CO died Saturday, September 6, 1997 at North Colorado Medical Center. Mrs. Adler was born April 6, 1911 to Jacob and Mollie (Zimmerman) Neisent in Morganthauw, Russia. On May 30, 1930 she married John Adler in Fort Collins. He died in November 1945. Mrs. Adler came to the United States in October 1911. She grew up and attended schools in the Loveland, CO and Johnstown, CO areas. She became a U.S. Citizen in 1942. After her marriage she lived in Loveland, Worland, WY, and Bell Fourche, SD. She then returned to Colorado settling in Windsor. In 1956 she moved to Greeley and worked for Weld County Hospital now North Colorado Medical Center as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, ceramics, and collecting dolls. She was a member of the Broadview Park Church. Survivors are her three daughters, Dorothy Hettinger and Betty Hettinger, both of Windsor, and Virginia Rumsey of Greeley; three sons, John Adler of Winnemucca, NV, Eddie Adler of Las Vegas, NV, and Harold Adler of Deadwood, SD; four step-children; three sisters; two brothers; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Private graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 1997 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
