Tammeria "Tammy” K. Garcia Parker Born June 28th, 1969, to Herman and Dolly Garcia, in Greeley. She attended Greeley schools, graduating from UNC with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education. She taught at Greeley West High School, her alma mater for 24 years before retiring in 2020. Tammy loved teaching, mentoring, and supporting her students and West whether as an advisor, assistant cheer coach or cheering on the wrestlers or the football "boys” or with her love of music, Spanish language, Spanish/Mexican traditions, and cooking. She always had a shoulder to lean on and that "forever smile” for everyone!!! While the last few years of her life she endured many medical and physical hardships, her smile never wavered, and no-one ever knew the pain she was in. Her faith in God and her love for her family and friends got her through some very difficult times. Tammy is survived by her father Herman, sister Karen Baca her niece Tina, nephew Menio and her 7 great nieces and nephews Dominique, Nemiah, Adyn, Andrew, Emery, Audrey and Adeline, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dolly, grandparents, and great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held from 5:00pm – 7:00pm followed by the Recitation of the Rosary on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Adamson Life Celebration Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am Friday, September 24, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnstown. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
