Veda Geraldine Bertelsen

Veda (Gerry) Bertelsen, 100, of Greeley, passed away on February 17, 2022 in Greeley, Colorado. She was born to Ivan and Lora (Finney) Cordray on April 4, 1921 in Brookfield, MO. She met Lenzie “Link” Bertelsen, and they married August 20, 1940. They were married 55 years. Gerry was creative and enjoyed sewing, baking, home decorating and painting. She was an avid volunteer and was honored for thousands of hours. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, and was a devoted follower of Christ. She was a proud member of the First United Methodist Church in Greeley for 54 years. She is survived by her daughters, Joy Wilson (Dale Lockman) and Renee (Mike) Smith; grandchildren, Bryan Wilson, Erin Wilson, Dustin Smith (Heather Rogers), Hayley (Roger) Lenort; 8 great grandchildren and many other friends and family. Gerry was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Connie Lynn; parents and 5 brothers.
