Charmaine Persis Carter
January 9, 1949 — January 2, 2026
Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
Charmaine Persis Carter, 76, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, just one week before her 77th birthday. A woman who lived boldly and without apology, Charmaine was truly one of a kind — sharp-witted, warm-hearted, and fiercely devoted to the people she loved.
Born in Lahore, Pakistan, Charmaine grew up in a strong Christian household led by her mother, a dedicated teacher who raised four children with courage, faith, and unwavering independence. From her earliest years, Charmaine stood at her mother’s side as both helper and protector, shaped by the strength of her upbringing and rooted in a faith that guided her throughout her life. She attended British Private School, where her intelligence, determination, and work ethic first shone through.
As the eldest of four siblings, Charmaine embraced responsibility early in life and carried it with pride. She was ambitious and driven, beginning her working life at a young age. A true trailblazer, she courageously moved to the United States and paved the way for her entire family to follow. Through perseverance and grit, she became a homeowner early in adulthood and built a foundation of opportunity that would uplift the generations after her.
Charmaine lived with purpose. She had a sharp sense of humor, a quick wit, and a natural ability to make friends wherever she went — friendships that lasted decades. Her faith remained steady and strong, sustaining her through every season of her life.
Family was at the center of everything she did. She lovingly cared for her mother, supported her siblings, and cherished her two nieces with all her heart. From the moment they were born, they became her world. She nurtured them, guided them, and believed in them with the same determination and fierce love that defined her life. Caring for her family was more than a role — it was her calling.
She will be remembered for her independence, honesty, courage, and the way she lived entirely on her own terms. Charmaine spoke her mind, followed her convictions, and inspired everyone around her through her example of hard work, loyalty, and faith.
Charmaine is survived by her sister and two nieces, who will forever carry her love, her strength, and her unforgettable spirit in their hearts.
Her legacy is one of devotion, resilience, boldness, faith, and fierce love — a life lived fully and a presence that will be deeply missed.
