Justin Dolan

May 30, 1980 — February 23, 2026

"What we have once enjoyed we can never lose; all that we love deeply becomes a part of us"- Helen Keller

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Justin Dolan on February 23, 2026, in Alexandria, Virginia. Born on May 30, 1980, in the same city, Justin lived a life that was both impactful and inspiring to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Justin was the cherished son of Keith Dolan and Amy Mayeux and the beloved brother of Melissa Dolan. He leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and generosity, fondly remembered by his beloved grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and community. He will be remembered for his infectious energy and spirit he radiated to those around him.

Throughout his life, Justin was a passionate advocate for his community, deeply engaged in causes that mattered. His work in community advocacy earned him respect and gratitude from those whose lives he touched. Justin’s ability to uplift others was undeniable, and he had an extraordinary talent for bringing people together, always fostering a sense of unity and support.

A devoted sports enthusiast, he had a particular fondness for the Washington Commanders, proudly holding season tickets and passionately cheering from the stands. His laughter and joy during games were a testament to his exuberant love for life, which he shared generously with friends and family alike.

A service to honor and celebrate Justin’s life will be held on March 14th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00pm, with a religious service at 2:30pm, at Advent Funeral Home on Lee Highway. All are welcome to join in remembering a remarkable spirit.

In the words of those who knew him, even in his absence, Justin’s spirit will forever remain a guiding light.
