Mae M. Smith

Mae M. Smith of Broad Run, Virginia, formerly a long-time resident of Falls Church, Virginia, went to be with Jesus, her savior, on May 21st, 2026, at the age of 90 years.

She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be just as dearly missed. But the family takes comfort in knowing the separation is only temporary.

Mae was preceded to heaven by her husband Oscar and one son. She is survived by three sons, four daughters-in-law, ten grandchildren and spouses, and four great-grandchildren.

Mae loved children and was a teacher at Columbia Baptist Preschool for many years.

The Celebration of Life service for Mae will be held on Wednesday, May 13th at 11 a.m. at The United Baptist Church, 7100 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA, 22003.

Friends are invited to remain afterwards to greet the family and enjoy light food at the church.
