Dorothy Jean Stevenson

"Our beloved mother Dorothy Jean Stevenson, daughter of Jake and Parline, was an Air Force wife and mother, who ran a household and took care of six children. She always wanted to travel and was able to achieve this with her family, living in Washington, D.C., Alaska, England, Sacramento and Tennessee. Throughout this time, she worked several jobs including in billeting on base in Alaska and the commissary in Upper Heyford Air Base in England as well as Center Joint School/District in North Highlands, CA. She loved the French language, coffee, and reading the Bible. She is survived by her children Denise, Gretchen, Kim, Patrick, Robert, and Lisa, grandchildren, and additional family. She will be dearly missed always."
