Agnes Aiko Deguchi

Agnes Aiko Deguchi passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home on July 12, 2026. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Will. She was a wonderful Mom to Kent, Barry (Dale), Deann (Evan) and a loving Grandma to Mindi (Loren), Megan (Weston), Jeremy, Matthew, Alyssa (Christian), Justin, and Alayna. She had 5 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. Agnes was born on May 29, 1935, in Salinas CA to Yoshito and Hanna Hironaka and was the youngest and last surviving sibling. She was preceded in death by sisters Miyo, Lillian, Shirley and brothers Pete and Eiji. She lived in Sacramento almost her entire life and attended Mayhew Community Baptist Church since elementary school where she met Will. She stayed home to raise her three children then worked part time for the State of California, DIR, Division of Labor Standards. She enjoyed attending church, babysitting grandchildren, attending their basketball games and events, and going on vacation with family and friends. Everyone loved her easygoing nature, her laughter and smile. A small celebration of life will be held in her honor.
