Donald M. Riese

Donald M. Riese, 67, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully at his home on June 29, 2025.

Donald dedicated 49 years of his life as a trusted and hardworking service advisor at Chapel Hills Phil Long Ford, where he was known for his loyalty, integrity, and commitment to customer care. He was also an active and proud member of the Elks Club and Eagles Club, contributing to numerous charitable efforts that helped improve the lives of others in his community.

Donald married the love of his life, Carole, and together they shared 22 wonderful years of marriage. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carole Riese; his stepson, Brian Richardson; and his beloved grandson, Maxim Richardson, all of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by two loving sisters, several additional grandchildren, and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Donald will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and kind spirit. His life was a reflection of service—both to his community and to those he loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local animal rescue organization, such as National Mill Dog Rescue, in Donald’s memory—a cause close to his heart.
