Beverly Bell

February 12, 1934 — July 4, 2025

Beverly was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Bernice and Eunice Wolff.  She was an only child.  Beverly went to Carnegie Tech where she pledged Delta Delta Delta sorority.  After college she became a stewardess for United Airlines.  She flew until she married A. Dudley Bell on August 29, 1959.  She had two daughters, Bonnie and Brenda.

Beverly focused on being a homemaker and mother until the early 70s when Dudley started an insurance business, Synergistic Enterprises, Inc.  She worked with him in the business handling office matters until he passed from Melanoma in 1984.

Beverly had a strong faith and love for Christ.  She loved to pray for others, considering herself to be a prayer warrior. She joined Bible Study Fellowship in the mid-80s and was a member until her passing.  She loved studying the Bible.

Beverly always had an interest in stitching and needlepoint. So, she took some classes and joined several needlepoint organizations including the Embroiderer’s Guild of America, Foothills and Colorado Chapters.  She also joined the American Needlepoint Guild or ANG.  She was also a member of PEO.

Beverly loved attending dog shows with her daughters.  They showed Keeshonden for over 35 years.

Beverly volunteered a lot for her stitching organizations and PEO.  She served on the boards of the organizations in various capacities, including President.  While she was happy to take other roles, the position of Treasurer was the work she loved to do the most.  Beverly also loved serving as treasurer for the Rocky Mountain Keeshond Club.  She served in that role for more than 20 years.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Bonnie and Brenda and her son-in-law Steve.

Beverly also “adopted” people to be part of the family, including John who initially came as an exchange student from Belgium and two other people met through dog shows that quickly became members of the family were Dennis and Melody and their respective families.  She loved being grandma to Melody’s daughters Makala and Malia and Dennis and Christine’s daughter, Campbell.  She also really enjoyed being a great grandma to Katie and Zach’s children, Zaiah and Fisher.

Mom was a strong woman who knew her mind and normally told you exactly what she thought.  She had a big heart, was very generous and loved her family and friends deeply.  She lived a beautiful long life, but honestly at the end she still wanted to live and had things she wanted to do.  We are glad that she is at peace with the Lord, but she will always be missed.
