It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved friend, father, and angel Darren Silvey, who left this world too soon but made an everlasting impact on all who knew him. Born in 1967 in Kansas, Darren later moved to Colorado, where his life would take an unexpected yet transformative turn.

In a moment of discovery that would change everything, Darren learned of three children he never knew he had. With his boundless love and unshakable sense of responsibility, Darren didn’t hesitate. He took them in, embraced them as his own, and devoted himself to raising them with kindness, strength, and wisdom. His unwavering support and dedication taught them what it means to be a good person, and it is because of Darren that these children were given the chance to live a life full of love and opportunity.
