Born 1967 – Passed Away 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved friend, father, and angel Darren Silvey, who left this world too soon but made an everlasting impact on all who knew him. Born in 1967 in Kansas, Darren later moved to Colorado, where his life would take an unexpected yet transformative turn.

In a moment of discovery that would change everything, Darren learned of three children he never knew he had. With his boundless love and unshakable sense of responsibility, Darren didn’t hesitate. He took them in, embraced them as his own, and devoted himself to raising them with kindness, strength, and wisdom. His unwavering support and dedication taught them what it means to be a good person, and it is because of Darren that these children were given the chance to live a life full of love and opportunity.

Darren was a man who could light up any room he entered with his infectious personality and genuine warmth. He had an incredible ability to make people feel seen, heard, and loved. His laughter and energy were contagious, and his presence could never be forgotten.

An incredibly hard worker, Darren never took the easy road. He worked tirelessly, always striving to do his best, not just for himself, but for those he loved. His work ethic and determination were unparalleled, and those who had the privilege of knowing him recognized his strength, character, and drive.

Darren’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his children, family, and friends. One can only hope to be missed as much as he will be. He was a force of nature, a constant source of love, and a symbol of what it means to be selfless and kind.

Rest easy, Darren. You’ve earned your peace, and you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Your love and spirit will forever guide us.
