Betty Joan Lambdin Kling

September 30, 1933 – May 23, 2026Betty Joan Lambdin Kling, 92, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, leaving behind a rich story of family, compassion, and perseverance.

Born on September 30, 1933, in Wichita, Kansas, Betty moved to Littleton, Colorado, in 1951 and made Colorado her home for the remainder of her life. Over the years, she also lived in Leadville, Loveland, Broomfield, Fort Collins, and Centennial, embracing each community with warmth and a generous spirit.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Wesley Kling. Together they enjoyed family, friends, travel, learning, sports and their love of animals. She was a devoted mother to seven children and their spouses, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two nephews she considered her sons, and many extended family members. Her love, guidance, and steadfast support shaped generations and will continue to be felt for years to come.

A dedicated homemaker and later, a principal's secretary, Betty approached every role with diligence, grace, and an unwavering commitment to serving others. She was a gifted and award-winning quilter whose artistry reflected both her creativity and patience. Her talents extended to many forms of needlework, and countless family members and friends were blessed to receive the beautiful works she created with her hands and heart.

Betty was a steadfast friend to many, a caregiver and source of comfort to those in need, and a woman whose compassion extended far beyond her own family. She possessed remarkable grit, a quick sense of humor, and a deep capacity for kindness. She loved her country and believed in dignity and equal rights for all people.

When life presented challenges, Betty often reminded those around her, "And this too shall pass." Those simple words reflected the resilience and perspective that carried her through both joys and hardships. May those words continue to bring comfort to all who loved her.
