March 13, 1940 — April 8, 2017
Vicki Lynn Hall died in Lakewood, CO, April 8, 2017 after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. She was born in Monett, Missouri on March 13, 1940 to Mary Esther and Vernon Hall. She attended Monett High School, Missouri State University, UNC at Greeley.
She taught in Monett for two years before coming to Colorado. She was hired in Jefferson County Public Schools and taught at S. Alameda Elementary later becoming Area Science Resource Teacher for the South Area, Assistant Principal at Colorow Elementary, Principal at Coal Creek Elementary, and for twelve years at Mitchell Elementary in Golden. Vicki retired in 1995.
Vicki will be remembered for her dedication to education, fun-loving spirit, sense of humor, and genuine love of children. She touched the lives of countless students, family, and friends and will be remembered with great love.
Vicki was predeceased by her parents and sister, Janice Barclay. She is survived by her nephew, Charles Albert Rose the IV, of Springfield, Missouri, two great nephews, Charles Albert Rose V and Chance Alexander Rose of Springfield, Missouri, and her sister-of-choice and travel companion for forty-three years, Carolyn Alexander, of Evergeen, CO. as well as Vicki’s two dogs, JAK and Wolfgang (Woofie).
