Beatrice "Bea" M. Champagne

Beatrice M. "Bea" Champagne passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2026 following a short illness.

Bea was the beloved wife of Robert P. Champagne, to whom she was married for 53 years. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of Saturnino and Eva (Tenoro) Lueras, and grew up in a large family as one of nine children.

Bea was employed for many years by Furr's Cafeteria and Long's Drugstore and was known for her dedication and friendly presence. She was a faithful communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she was a devoted volunteer, generously giving her time and care to her parish community.

In accordance with her wishes, funeral services are omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Dr., Colorado Springs, with the praying of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 a.m. A committal service will follow on May 8th at 1:00 p.m. at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Rd., Colorado Springs.

Bea's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her kindness, devotion to her faith, and the love she shared with her community.

Donations in her honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
