Obituary
Beverly "Bev" Ronchetti, 85, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, in Colorado Springs.
She was born May 9, 1936, in Coal City, Illinois to John J & Cecelia (Ayersman) Cinotto. She married her high school sweetheart, the late Richard Ronchetti. After Richard was drafted by the U.S Army in 1956, the couple moved to Germany where the spent two enjoyable years immersed in the local culture.
Following Richards military service, the Ronchettis returned to Illinois and Bev went to work for the U.S Postal service. The couple also started a family, with Bev giving birth to a daughter and son.
The Ronchettis moved to Colorado Springs in 1975 to raise their children while Richard launched and operated Statewide Home Improvement. Bev, meanwhile, went to work for the U.S Air Force Academy where she worked as a Cadet Counselor. After retiring she worked for the Spectranetics Corporation, a manufacturing company, where she worked part time until 2017 when the company was acquired by Royal Philips.
Bev was an active member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Parish were she regularly attended Mass and volunteered her time. Lifelong baseball fans, Bev and Richard supported the Chicago Cubs, but also fell in love with the Colorado Rockies and attended many games over the years.
Bev was preceded in death by Richard, her parents; sisters, Cele Pomatto, Marilyn Wilken, Darlene Cinotto and Jacqueline Cinotto, and a brother Robert Cinotto.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Flatt; son, Joseph Ronchetti; granddaughter, Aimee Lowery; and her brother, John A Cinotto; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 @ 10:30AM followed by a Mass at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish in Colorado Springs. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers the family request that all donations be made to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region or the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research.
