Harold Waldemar Dalland

Harold W. Dalland, 75, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully of natural causes on May 27, 2026, in Colorado Springs.

Harold lived a life defined by service and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era, carrying with him a strong sense of patriotism throughout his life.

Following his military service, Harold built a successful career as an engineer with Boeing, where he applied his technical expertise and problem-solving skills over many years. His work reflected the precision, curiosity, and determination that characterized him professionally and resulted in multiple patents.

Outside of work, Harold found joy in nature. He was an avid fisherman and clam digger who loved spending time on the water. Whether hunting, sailing his boat, or exploring new places in search of interesting rocks to add to his collection, he embraced the simple pleasures of life.

Harold is survived by his three children, Steffen, Shawn, and Sonja, and by his three grandchildren, Christian, Grace, and Sara.
