Joseph Jesse Rodriguez

Joseph Jesse Rodriguez passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 1, 1931, in Oklahoma to Floyd Rodriguez and Erlinda (Lucero) Rodriguez.

Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, he met the love of his life, Jean Margaret (Keleher) Rodriguez. The two were united in marriage on March 20, 1954, and together built a loving family and a life filled with devotion, laughter, and cherished memories.

From this union came six children: Paul Rodriguez, Elizabeth White, Gail Youngs, Michael Rodriguez, Lori Hopkins, and Jess Rodriguez. Joseph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose strength, kindness, and dedication to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joseph enjoyed many simple pleasures in life. He loved taking trips to the Senior Center, shopping at local flea markets, playing the guitar, and singing. He also enjoyed frequenting the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where he loved listening to local bands and spending time on the dance floor. Above all else, Joseph treasured spending time with his loved ones and creating lasting memories with those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Rodriguez; mother, Erlinda Rodriguez; beloved wife, Jean Rodriguez; and sons, Paul Rodriguez and Michael Rodriguez.

Joseph is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Rodriguez) White of California, Gail (Rodriguez) Youngs of Florida, Jesse Rodriguez of Arizona, and Lori Hopkins of Colorado, as well as a large extended family and many dear friends.
