Paul Dufaud

Pete Dufaud passed away on Apr 15, 2026 at the age of 90 after battlingAngiosarcoma. Pete was born on March 20, 1936 in Detroit, MI. He grewup in Tucson, AZ and later moved on to a military life. A graduate of LoyolaUniversity, Pete went on to serve in the US Navy and US Air Force. On Sept13, 1957, Pete married the love of his life Nannette (Sam) Delgado. Afterserving our country for 27 years including Vietnam, he retired in 1980. He starteda family battery business that is still thriving. Pete loved traveling, playing golfand car auctions. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. FrancisCatholic Church. Pete is survived by his wife of 67 years, Nannette, hischildren: Scott Dufaud (Sheryl), Michele Collier (Courtney), Brad Dufaud(Lori), Jeanine Romig (Doug), Steve Dufaud (Lisa), 14 grandchildren and12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Paul Jean Dufaudand his mother Marguarite Dufaud. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April27, 2026, 10:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Church, Colorado Springs. Areception will immediately follow with burial at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
