Clarence Eddleman
September 18, 1928 — October 24, 2016
C. James “Jim” Eddleman, 88, of Westminster, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2016. A WWII Navy Veteran and a proud Mason, Jim is survived by his children, Gary & Barb Eddleman of Longmont, Colorado, Bud & Debbie Eddleman of Hosford, Florida, Ray & Judy Eddleman of Arvada, Colorado, Debbie & Larry Brown of Hosford, Florida, and Kathy & Rick Brown of Bristol, Florida.
Jim leaves a long and lasting legacy in grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Tamara, Garett, Ryan, Katlynd, Courtney, Rick, Shannon, Sausha, Monica, Michael and Nikki, his great- grandchildren, Chayse, Noah, Carson, Lacey, Makayla, Kassidi, Korie, Alysha, Kayla, Joydan, Andrew, Nathan, Noah, Marshall, Brayden, Maddie Grace, Sophie, Hudson, Ellie, Logan and Landry, and one great-great-grandchild, Dahlia.
Jim was preceded in death by his son, Bill Eddleman of Hudson, Colorado and his wife, Jane Bowhan Eddleman.
Jim believed that life was very simple. He never met a stranger. He was a hard working cowboy, rancher, cattle buyer, trucker, mechanic, business owner, entrepreneur and a pilot. He always looked back at simpler times when a handshake was enough to seal a deal, right and wrong were as clear as black and white. Jim loved riding horses and pushing cattle and fishing. He worked side by side with family and friends. It was not just a job, it way a way of life. He was a great cook! Loved fried chicken, chicken fried steak and green chili and there was only one best-ever pecan pie – from his daughter, Kathy.
“I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people and I require the same from them.” JOHN WAYNE
