Patricia Lorraine Olsvold

Patricia Lorraine Olsvold, 67, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson, California.

Born on November 7, 1958, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Patricia was the beloved daughter of Merlin Alton Frederick and Nedra Lorraine Frederick' Starr'. She dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. She was a retired medical assistant whose compassion, empathy, and kindness touched the lives of many. Her heart was always open, ready to listen, offer advice, and lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Patricia was a devoted wife to the late Steven Mark Olsvold and a loving mother to Janmarie Wright of North Hollywood, CA, Joey Mazzurco of Ione, CA, and Andrea Ferea of Ione, CA. She was also a proud grandmother to her only grandchild, Skyler Ferea of Ione, CA.

She is survived by her children—Janmarie Wright, Joey Mazzurco, and Andrea Ferea—her granddaughter, Skyler Ferea; her sister, Doreen Bailey of Exton, PA; and her brother, Jake Starr of Little River, SC. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Merlin Frederick, and her sister, Janmarie Catherine Frederick. Patricia's family will carry her memory in their hearts always.

Her deep faith in God guided her life, and she was known for her unwavering belief and gentle spirit.

She will be remembered for her warmth, wisdom, and the way she made everyone feel heard and cared for. Her legacy of love and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A private family internment will be held at Amador Memorial Cemetery in Pioneer, CA.
