Barbara Lynn Rogalavich

Barbara L. Rogalavich, 83, of Binghamton, NY, passed away on April 21, 2026, in Melbourne, FL.

She was born on March 6, 1943, to Myles J. Golan and Josephine (Kocik) Golan.

Barbara was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a Regional Sales Director for Stanley Home Products and later became a beautician, owning her own shop. She enjoyed spending the winter months in Melbourne, FL, where she was active as an instructor for the Bone Builders exercise program and participated in many other community activities. In New York, she was a long-standing member of St. Cyril’s Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, camping, and shopping.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 65 years, George “Steve” Rogalavich; her two daughters, Julia Samson and Jennifer Anderson; and her two sons, James Rogalavich and Joseph Rogalavich, along with their families. She had nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Myles and Josephine Golan; her brother, John Golan; her sister, Kathryn Karl; and her granddaughter, Faith Rogalavich.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Binghamton, NY, on June 13, 2026, at St. Cyril’s Roman Catholic Church.

Barbara will be remembered for her kind, loving nature, strength, and generosity, and will be missed by all.
