Dennis Robert Hebert

Dennis Robert Hebert passed peacefully at home with his daughter on Sunday, June 7th, 2026. 

Born November 23, 1947 in Cohoes, NY, Dennis joined the Navy after graduating and remained an active leader in his local VFW and American Legion long after his honorable discharge. After moving to Florida in the early 1990’s, Dennis enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley and having an ice-cold beer while looking out at the water until his retirement from the City of Palm Bay. Alongside his love Ruthie, he spent his time doing the crossword on the porch, enjoying dinners with friends, playing Rummikub and visiting family in Nantucket and Colorado. Dennis was the life of the party and friend to all he knew.

He is survived by his daughter Sarah (Gary), his step-children Jackie (Ron), Tracy (Gordon), Philip (Amber), and Pete (Emily) his grandchildren Graham, Emerson, Lawton, Sloane, Leon, Jessie, Jo, Luce, Katie, Simin and his extended family in New York.
