Glenn Francis Miller

July 30, 1945 — April 13, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Francis Miller.

Glenn was born on July 30, 1945, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to Francis George Miller and June Theo (Radeline), both from Allentown.  For the past 14 years, he resided in West Melbourne, Florida, where he lived with his long-time partner and friend, Shirley A. Licsko.  He was a graduate of William Allen High School, class of 1963.  He was also a member of the Franklin Park Playground and had a strong faith in God and was a long standing member of Zion Lutheran Church in Alburtis, PA.

Glenn was a Sergeant and gunner in the United States Army.  He was a proud and honorable Viet Nam Veteran, serving in the 25th Infantry Division from 1966-1967.  During his service, his quick thinking and courage helped save the lives of 3 children caught in an explosion. Something he rarely spoke about but carried with quiet pride.  After his service to his country, he spent the better part of his life working as a Construction Consultant.  In retirement, he could be found living his best life; golfing, bowling, playing bingo and playing cards with friends.

First and foremost, Glenn ("Pops") was a loving and devoted father and grandfather who often referred to his family as his greatest "blessings in life."  He lived with humility and generosity, always looking for ways to help others - especially children and those less fortunate.  Each year, as the weather turned colder in Florida, he would purchase blankets, sleeping bags and rain ponchos to give to those experiencing homelessness.

Glenn shared 18 years with Shirley, filled with love, laughter and the occasional spirited debate.  He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and loved to dance.  His sense of humor could light up any room and people were naturally drawn to his warmth and spirit.  Glenn made a lasting impression on all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his significant other, Shirley A. Licsko, and his 3 daughters, Wendy Cagigas-Martin (Mike), Tiffany Goodman (Dan), and Amber Leman (Chris), four grandchildren, Ashlea, Alyssa, Payton and Danny; two great-grandsons, Nolan and Carson, siblings, Ronald, Bruce Miller (Gail) and sister Bonnie.

A funeral service will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on June 16th @ 10:00 am
