Gloria Partlow, 85, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Gloria was the daughter of the late Shirley J. McVay and Robert C. Nagel.
She is survived by her beloved children, Eddie Wells (Lee Paradise) of Tampa, Florida, and Wendy Carpenter of Bell Buckle, Tennessee; her sister, Shirley Rolsing (Doug); her sister, Carol Duncan; and her brother, Ronald Sinclair, along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, extended family members (Partlow), and dear friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Partlow; her sister, Judi Arnold; her brothers, Richard Sinclair and John Kelly; and her nephew, Matthew Matrigali.
Gloria enjoyed a successful career in interior design, which inspired her lifelong passion for decorating, especially during the holiday season. She was a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes football fan and never missed a game. She also loved boating and fishing on Buckeye Lake, Ohio, where she lived for several years.
Above all, Gloria loved her family unconditionally and treasured the many friendships she made throughout her life. Her faithful dog, Toby, was a constant companion and will miss her dearly. Gloria's warm heart, beautiful smile, and kind spirit touched everyone who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care in Melbourne, Florida. A service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home's worship hall.
A Celebration of Life will also be held at Buckeye Lake, Ohio, on August 29, 2026. Additional details will be shared with family and friends.
